You hear good things about Qt 5, but youre not sure why you should care? The transition to Qt 5 is not like the Qt 4 transition. Designed and developed with a clear goal of retaining source and behavior compatibility as much as possible, early testers have reported that the transition is close to painless. Yet Qt 5 also brings many fixes and improvements that could not be done before. It brings new functionality to the table, setting the stage for the next 5 years or more.
