Threadripper 3 Build Tutorial - Were methodically and systematically going through the Components on this TRX40 Motherboard to verify everything since this is a new Platform to experience. Were checking out the NVME Connectors, RAM placements and orientation arrangements. Were starting this Build with half of our RAM kit at 128 GBs. We will add the rest of the RAM (all 256 GBs) after installing Windows and after doing the Bios Updates for compatibility which also updates the AGESA microcode in the CPU. This is the Gigabyte TRX40 Designare Motherboard CPU, RAM and Cooler Installation. Once the CPU Cooler and both primary and secondary CPU Fans are installed, then we can proceed to install the 4 sticks of DDR4 RAM in Quad Channel. Thats 32 GBs per stick! Note: The Total RAM capacity of 5 years ago was 32 GBs of DDR3 Dual Channel on the FX Chipset with AMD 8350 CPUs. For those who have waited to Build, time to get up to speed!
